Founded in 2005 by myself (Mike Cuevas), a proud Latino entrepreneur and former apprentice at Welch Tile under the guidance of Dan Welch. M&A Tile has grown into a trusted name in the tile industry—but it didn’t happen overnight.
My journey began with relentless effort, working six and even seven days a week, often pulling double shifts to turn this vision into reality. This tireless dedication laid the foundation for the business you see today and inspired a culture of perseverance and excellence that defines M&A Tile.
Today, I am joined by my son and business partner, Javier Cuevas. As well as my dad, brother’s, nephew’s, and family friends who have helped us grow tremendously. Ensuring the values of hard work and integrity are passed down to the next generation.
With the support of our wives and children, our family’s hands-on approach ensures every project is completed with care, efficiency, and top-tier craftsmanship.
His kind heart with customers along with his strong attention to detail played a major roll in creating beautiful finished work. In the beginning it was just me and Oscar putting in long days to create a name in the tile business. He was such a loyal and hard worker. He had a contagious and unique laugh you fell in love with. He was a great father to 13 kids. (He Passed away November 15th of this year)
